DIY diffused through a powerhead

I have decided to try this instead of the ladder and see how it goes instead, I have an old rena power head that I have the air line under so the co2 bubbles up directly into it and the PH then destroys the bubbles creating millions of tiny bubbles and spits them around the tank.

Is that any good or would the ladder method be better?

Also so far I have about 40bpm, is that to much for a 50Lish tank?

I suspect the PH is better, pretty much what you get when using an inline diffuser.

The one thing i have learnt form co2 injection weather diy or pressurised, is that there is no set rule on bpm.

For example my 125ltr has bpm of 60 and my 35ltr nano has a bpm of ????? too fast to count :)

I use more on the nano!

Co2 concentration is affected not only by the amount we inject, but how it is diffused, distributed around the tank, and how much surface agitation there is.
