HI everyone I've got myself a dilemma regards my first planted tank, a Juwel 190 low tech with pressurized Co2. I'm going away for a week in 3 weeks and my tree is has now reached neutral buoyancy. I think there are 3 options available to me which would you do ?

  1. Wait till I get back ?
  2. Get hardscape in and start a fishless and plant less cycle, when I get home drain tank to low level (6") and plant, refill with fresh water ?
  3. Order plants this week and start the cycle ?

@Greenfinger2 Is it not worth me starting the fishless cycle (option 2, I will be using ammonia) hopefully that would be done before I go away, less work on return. I can then concentrate on the plants / planting for the 3wks prior to the fish transfer.

Option 2. Single dose of ammonia, filter on, cover tank completely as per black out. Enjoy ya holiday.
