Is anyone prepared to give their opinions on the Dennerle Nano Cubes and Scapers Tanks?
Build quality, glass construction, that kinda thing…. They look like neat little nano tanks.
Thanks for any views.
I have the 30l Dennerle for a hospital / propagation tank.
Pros:
The curved front edges are really nice.
Comes with a pre attached levelling mat.
The lid has a handy hole for lifting it up and feeding through.
Cons:
Lid clips are plastic so less pretty than Stainless Steel ones.
The background assumes substrate will be used so won’t look good if bare bottom or very shallow sand.
Dennerle 60L here, very good tank. The only issue I have is that the glass cover leaves a 2 cm gap at the back (for filter tubes) so not great for any fish that tend to jump. A mesh will cover it though.
I have a Dennerle Scapers Tank 55 and the glass cover has a gap of about 5mm all round. This type is only suitable for internal filters. However, there is a extra glass cover with a larger gap for external filters (not included).
The quality is very good and I would buy this tank again at any time.
I have the 60L Nano. It’s a nice tank. Mine came with a full size glass lid so I had to order the shorter one to accommodate my Lilly Pipes. I don’t mind the clear plastic lid clips, they’re pretty unobtrusive.
