Have got a 55ltr tank with a typical beginners selection of plants, some of fast upright growers like Cardamine are growing out of the tank, while the lower half of the plant is looking a bit sad due to the lack of light.
So it needs cutting back, but is it better to remove the top growth and wait the the bottom half to regrow or to remove the old base and plant the cuttings from the top growth instead ?
