Could anyone tell me if this is the actual name of this plant (Cryptocoryne Green crisped Leaf) or there is another name for it. Not much info on the net, be grateful if anyone could help .

I was hoping it was a balansae them seem to be hard to come by online, found this website and it does look like a balansae http://paratusplants.co.uk/cryptocoryne-green-crisped-leaf-p-42.html and on c02 art it looks like this http://www.co2art.co.uk/products/cryptocoryne-green-crisped-leaf

Thanks for the responses
I really don't think the one at CO2art one is balansae and I don't think it's worth the gamble I got mine from aqua essentials here and you can see the difference. When I sad most crypts end up looking the same this is an exception as it has very long leaves.

You could try getting the real name of the plant at CO2art by asking them on their section of the forum. The one on http://paratusplants.co.uk/ does look like Cryptocoryne crispulata var. balansae but to add to the confusion their description says 20cm and foreground which I doubt it will stay that size.

Hello all,

I am really sorry to hear that you are not happy with the naming of our plants. Please note that all our names are from our suppliers and we do not change the names in any way,

Regarding to your question about the proper name of the above plant I will contact our supplier and ask them about the name of the plant.

Also please note if you think that our plants names are not correct please kindly let us know as we have to contact our suppliers and ask them why they do not provide correct names for they plants and sales them all over EU with incorrect names.

Lastly I will update the name on the plant as soon as we get respond from our supplier.

Once again really sorry for the confusion.

The supplier has a right to use their trade names but it would be a great help to include the scientific names on all your plants as well.
