I bought a Red striotala August last year. It was emersed form, and already had flower

I sent it to my friend for nursing right before I renovated my house. Come visit my friend’s again and I am now seeing it is flowering

Has anyone ever seen a crypt that’s flowering underwater?

I never got mine to flower until recently despite keeping them for years. I keep cryptocoryne beckettii petchii pink in various tanks.
The only place one flowered for me was in half emersed form, planted in a basket near the water surface.

The flower appears to be very delicate and didn't last long. I am hoping another one will grow soon.
