I was algae wiping my tank and when I got close to the moss I noticed a huge amount of copepods zoom all out of the moss. I have been noticing moss provides shelter for microfauna much better than any other plants in our tanks. A lot of amphipods also reside in my moss. It's why my fish are always scanning the moss.
