New hobby for me. Tank is 49 days in and planted.
Was keen to get snails into the tank to keep algae at bay. And sure enough after a couple weeks my wish came true. I got some snails starting to grow.
Fast forward to 49 days and the snails appear to be procreating at will. Thus expanding the population to a good 30-40.
And these appear to be small weenie types.
A bit too much maybe?
So should I swap them out for more specialist and glamourous types tondo the algae cleaning on the glass and plants. What types would you recommend?
If so should I employ the cucumber overnight removal method or the assassin snail method. If its the snail route what do I do once they have done their job with respected to putting in the more specialised snail?
Is there an algae eating snail that Assassin snails don't go for?
Cheers in advance
