I am using inline diffuser for CO2 with a spray bar at top of 120 gallon planted tank to get some surface agitation . I’m adding a wave maker to eliminate dead spots. I am concerned having the spray bar so close to surface decreases the CO2 for my plants. Is this a valid concern?

I use a spray bar close to the surface. I have a slightly higher injection rate due to surface movement but I keep the bar clise to the surface on purpose to ensure adequate oxygen is maintained in the tank. Only slightly higher injection rate and I have ensured gassing the fish is very difficult.

Edit: a spray bar fully optimises my flow pattern which in turn makes sure Co2 distribution is optimal. I think that my injection rate is slightly high at 1bps for 57 litres. I maintain a 1 ph drop from degassed water with a lime green/ bordering yellow drop checker. This was not the base before I added the bar. Before I was two bps, less surface agitation and less than ideal distribution.
