(Firstly, sorry for the picture quality - it was early morning and I was in no mood to take pretty pictures...!)

Whoever it was that recommended keeping goldfish in an open top tank, I'd like to force-feed them my filter water... :eek:

Every morning, we wake up to our goldfish squirting water out of the tank to get our attention and be fed. They calm down once they're fed, and start squirting again in the afternoon.... :mad:

Any advice before I grill them with salt and a little lemon? :rolleyes: Probably not a lot can be done in an open top tank!

Be thankful it's not an archer fish:D

Do floating plants survive with them? Failing that dropping the water level so they can't squirt it out is my only other suggestion.
