Shot below is my CBS female.....currently berried for 2-3 weeks. Her last batch resulted in a real mixed bag of about 5 crs, 5 cbs, 4 golden/whites and a few brown uns

Do you think she is worthy of an S Grade? Offspring seem to be very nice markings and solid colour.

Cheers,

Mike.

Nice, it looks like S grade V band. So u got such a different bunch from one mum? Must be funny tank.

Well, down to 1 male cbs only and some fire yellow neo's....so only 1 guilty male.

Radik - any idea what the brown shrimplets are about??

Thanks,

Mike.

Some CBS offspring might not get best coloration as pure black but brownish instead. So those are more or less B-C grade. Also it might depend on food and supplements in diet, water or just pure genetics. You know CRS was bred from CBS by genetic mutation so add a bit of red color to the black and you get brown 🙂. So you have to select best black to get best black offsprings or be just happy as it is.

Yeah, I know about that but this colour is quite clear....more of a very deep red almost. I'll try to get some pic's tonight to show better.
