These weird spindly things started growing in my tank, anyone recognise them?
Thanks in advance!
That is what you call Hydra
Oooh interesting! will they over run a tank if i dont remove them? I believe they came with some assassin snails i introduced a few days ago.
Im pretty sure they will ever over run a tank if you was to overfeed consistantly. Do you have and fish fry or shrimp in the tank?
No its a barren tank at the moment, my fiance hasn't figured out what he wants to do with it, it just has pond snails and assassin snails in it so no food is being added.
Ok, them hydra are pretty big. Have to be careful because they can pick off fish fry and baby shrimp. Pond snails will actually eat hydra.
Do you recon TNC Carbon will kill off the hydra?

The battery method seems to work well.

Hmmm sounds like a new super hero or villain....don't tell Disney.
Disney has already 'done' Hercules, who had an even more fearsome Hydra to deal with.
Separate names with a comma.
