Why some of my plants doing this, please see the pictures. I’m talking about roots.

Some rotalas just do that, especially on the older stems. Some also say that it happens when the plant isnt getting enough Nitrates. Since you have done what sounds like a rescape, it could just be a reaction to getting disturbed

I have the same thoughts, and I read a bit more about it—seems like people are saying the same thing. It’s either a nutritional issue (like not enough nitrates) or just a normal reaction, especially after being disturbed during a rescape. Thanks
