Bubble Counter Problem

I recently bought a Do-aqua bubble counter, connected to the reg with line and a check valve then diffuser, the BC is a bit of a pig to fill, over the day today its lost water, no water is anywhere, the check valve is brand new, no idea where the water could be going. Any ideas?
