Hello people

Firstly I’ve downsized aquarium from a high tech 150L to a smaller 55L high tech! My reactor/ diffuser in my 150 didn’t fit the 55 so I bought an atomiser which is working great but I’m getting black beard algae!

But I’m just slowly turning the co2 up each day and checking every day till I have reached what I would consider the limit

So I’m wondering once I reach this limit and stop adjusting the co2 will the algae just die and go away or will I have to reach the limit and remove the algae with brute force?!

Thanks in advance!

Physical removal will be necessary if on hardscape. You can also spot dose or tank dose Excel (or equivalent) until it turns purple/pink.

Cheers,
