Hi all, can anybody help?
I've had a bit of a disaster in the fact that my lighting has packed up & due to an embarrassing cash flow issue I can't afford to replace it until I get paid at the end of the month.
I'm really worried that my plants will die I'm sure the fish will be ok I am injecting Co2 which I have turned off for now.
So what fait will my plants suffer will they be ok? Most of the plants are fairly hardy like Amazon swords etc but I have carpet plants Cuba & few red plants.
Can anybody suggest a temporary emergency countermeasure until I can get sorted. I have a cube 270l 24" by 24" aquarium
I really would appreciate any input.
Many thanks
Marc.

Not ideal at all, but if you pay back a payday loan straight away they not too bad in terms of actual £ amount (the % is horrendous mind).

Depends how many £ of plants think would lose in comparison I suppose.

Cheers thanks for the replies I'm off work day after tomorrow so I'll give it some thought with regards to alternitive lighting please keep the suggestions coming I really appreciate it.

Where are you mate?
For info I'm in Bracknell.
& limited sunlight.

Ok, thought I could lend you a light but you're nowhere near me. Maybe someone on here who lives closer could help.
Thanks for the thought, I really appreciate it.

Where are you based? what plant species have you got and how bright do you need your light? I may have a spare lighting unit I could lend you.

Hi & thanks
I'll get a detailed list & post later but it's basically a discus mix of high temp tolerant plants & carpet plants
Cheers
