Best way to clean a juwel light unit

Hi my juwel light unit has loads of limescale over it and i would like to remove/clean it off without damaging/scratching the plastic.
Anyone know of a way of doing this?

Vinegar and a soft scourer. Would be your fish friendly option. or if its clear perspex I'd give the scourer a miss and use a cloth.

I just use Killrock descaler on mine. Do it outside as is a bit wiffy. Viakal also works well, is a tad more expensive but can be done indoors at kitchen sink. Obviously wash well once done.
