Best outlet

I’m just using a right angle bend on the pipe myself, no spraybar or lily pipe etc. At the moment just using the standard oase ones but soon I will upgrade to steel pipes. I have two filters so one on each end angled appropriately. The outlets are just far enough under the surface to not be noisy but give a good amount of ripple and flow around the tank.
 
If you asked inlet I'd have to go glass Lilly pipe style for riscreteness. Re outlet, I get the point of the the classic Lilly pipes (and use them myself) but they are quite bulky. A nice simplistic bent glass tube would probably be my next purchase.
 
Classic lily pipes outlets work great, create a nice ripple on the surface of the water
