I'm after opinions on what gives the best plant growth. The lights is for a refugium compartment in my sump, it 16cm wide by 30cm long and 25cm deep. It's going to house shrimp and plants - Staurogyne repens, Pogostemon erectus, Pogostemon helferi, Hemianthus callitrichoides, Heteranthera zosterifolia.

thanks

I have used both in the larger sizes. The beamswork wasn't the Evo one though. The high lumen 6500k.
Plant growth was good with both. I would prefer the Arcadia one though given the choice. The rgb LEDs in the Arcadia gives much better colour rendition. Makes the fish and plants look much brighter. Brings the Reds out especially well.
The beams work looks dull by comparison. Just as bright but more of a washed out white look if you know what I mean.
Both are good light units. Will give you good plant growth. It's just down to personal preference I suppose.
Personally I would go with the Arcadia.
