Hi guys!

Robinson, i felt like i was filling to much, covering almost everything with plants and not leaving much free space to go along with the "forest" idea.
Some see this scape as 3 islands, i saw it and thought of it as a pass through a forest, with the main focus on the "old" tree in the middle.

Aeropars, i thought of it at first, but went without it. Thank you.

Day 72, a few weeks before the finish line :

Hi Alex

Very nice scape, thanks for sharing. I was wondering how often you did water change and also how much water you changed? I am currently setting up a low tech tank and are very interested in hearing what others have done with regards to water change.

Thank you all for the kind words. I have a new journal coming in just a bit. :D

Henrik, i only did like 20% weekly water changes, tops. It seems like it was enough to keep everything in check with this setup.
In other setups, for example, in the big tank (Roots and Grit), i usually do 40-50% weekly water changes, but i consider that to be a high tech setup (using daily fertilization, co2 and high lighting).

Hi Alex

Thanks for answering. I look forward to following your new journal.

Best regards,

Henrik
