I set up my first planted aquarium three days ago, actually my first aquarium ever. I would like to know if it's normal for some plants to have blackened edges and others to have small black spots. I think it might be due to the shock of transitioning them from the store aquarium to mine, and that it's something normal, but I would like to hear your opinion. As Maq says the tank just set up, looking at it l would say room for stem plants and floating plants to shade the light, ,l would do some daily water changes for a week or two, gradually reduce to once or twice a week
