My male Apisto has been in rude health since I've had him, he's looked fantastic and constantly on display to his mate but in the last few weeks he's been hiding and barely coming out to feed. He's now seemingly unable to swim much. He attempted to eat but struggled to reach the flakes. I've had him roughly two years and he was adult sized when purchased.

Any ideas? Swim bladder? Other than the odd jumper, I haven't had many fish die on me. Apart from a batch of neon blue rainbows that nearly all succumbed to various parasites.

He's been like that most of the day.

I don't know the species well, but it looks OK externally to me.

Would you be able to get a video of the fish so we can see the symptoms in real time?
