Anyone had experience ordering from Swell.UK

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year
After much consideration I decided the Eheim Vivaline LED 150 Cabinet Aquarium was best choice for what I'm after.
I have Ordered this from Swell.UK who advertised at a good price and as "in stock usually delivers within 4 days"
Okay it's Christmas so I have no problems with usual delays but rather worryingly I got an email from them this morning to say my order was being delivered direct from the Manufacturer.
As Eheim are in Germany it appears Swell did me like a kipper. Has anyone else experience of this Company and can advise how complicated or otherwise this delivery might be?
I have contacted Swell to ask.
My reason for this post is that after I ordered I checked some reviews which were worrying.

I have used them a few times for pond stuff.
I was very pleased as they had good prices and everything was delivered correctly.
However, I did order some live food from them that never arrived. I emailed them and they refunded me quickly. They were pretty personable on the email, so I think the customer service is good even if the delivery was not very reliable.

Thanks for that, I have since done some searching and see Eheim coupled with a Company by the name of ALF UK in Oct 2024 for UK distribution so maybe it will come from there, I will report on how things progress and hopefully that will be of interest to anyone wanting to Buy Eheim. I believe ALF LTD are based in Bedford.
I don't usually panic but when you spend thick end of £500 it's nice to know whereabouts and details.😉

Yes, placed two orders for pond components in the last two years. No problems.

Just had an Email from Swell Uk, surprise, surprise the Eheim Vivaline 150 I ordered is not in stock as stated and their UK supplier is out too, they say Eheim will have them in Germany in approx 2 weeks so I've cancelled and requested a refund.
It's so disappointing when companies offer huge catalogues of items online as 'in stock' only to discover they're on back order.
Back to the drawing board
