Any ideas?

Anyone have any idea what this is that been plaguing my houseplant for a short while?
I initially thought it was some sort of bug, but they don’t move. Then I thought eggs, but not sure what as we don’t have any issue with bugs.

Some sort of fungal infection maybe?

Tiny mealybugs maybe? They tend to be pretty sedentary. The leaves should be a bit sticky from all the secreted honeydew then.
