Hi all, after seeing Dan Crawford’s stunning tank on the PFK website and reading he was one of the founders of this site I throught it must be great place for some advice!
I've just closed down my reef tank and decided to go green 😀!! I have done tropical set ups before but never a full on planted set up. The equipment I have so far is;
Aqua one 850 tank
4x 39W t5 lighting (tropical bulbs)
Pressurised co2 kit with inline atomiser
Colombo pro floria substrate
External filter
Heaters ect
Various liquid ferts
Ro filter
Test kits
I think that's about it, is there anything els I will need (apart from plants!!) that I will need to get started? I also have plenty of questions about buffering the ro water, how to know what ferts to dose, lighting co2...the list goes on! 😛
Any advice is very much appreciated.
