Amazon and eBay hosted ads for banned invasive species

They don't really care though. I and lots of others reported several listing for marine animals (things like beadlet anemones, which are ok to keep if collected yourself but not sold) which are still on there. Nothing was done. There was also someone selling parrots feather for ponds which was banned a few years ago I believe. They must have known it was illegal because they deliberately dogged my questions.

On a similar thread I have seen several cacti species obviously collected from the wild habitat that are being illegally traded, openly for sale on one of these sites. People have pointed out that it's illegal to trade or sell any part, including seeds of the cacti in question yet none of the listings were removed🙁

How can somebody say that Ebay broke a law.. In our country every citizen is obliged to know the law. Then if a German sells something on ebay which is ilegal to import into the Netherlands. Then how can ebay be held responsible for this if i'm the one breaking the law and importing something ilegal. It almost happend to me with ordering antibiotics in the United States via Ebay. But our law says this is ilegal to import this since 2 years. Fortunately the customs didn't pay attention and i got my order anyway.. It was a vet who told me afterwards that i was realy very lucky..

I'm not so sure if ebay can be held responsible for this..
