Amano Shrimp, Where is He …

I bought an Amano Shrimp yesterday to see if he would be ok in my tank …
This morning all was well so I set off to buy him a friend …
On my return he was nowhere to be seen. The new shrimp loves the tank…

He has not left the tank as with our setup this would be easily spotted …

Where could he be. There are a few hiding places but surely he would come out occasionally.

Could he be, moulting, tired, resting .
Do they hide when moulting and does a tank change trigger this.
There is no obvious body … Where is he …

I have seven Amano shrimp in my tank. Sometimes it feels like I have none when they are in the mood to hide away.

The are always around, but I never spot them all at once in my tanks.

They seem to love water changes though, everytime I do one on any of the tanks they swim around while it's being added and for a few minutes after, always swimming into the stream. (Water is same temp and same make up as tank and is treated before adding in case anyone was concerned this was stress related)

Lol water change day is the only time my wife and daughter get excited about the fish tanks, they know all the Amano shrimp will be flying round the tank.
