Amano are very busy

Just got back from holiday. I was aware that one or two Amano shrimp were berried but on return all 10 females are berried. The other two are males who have obviously been doing their job.

I was thinking of set to g up a red cherry shrimp tank, but I am wondering about having a go with the Amano and putting a female in another tank and trying to raise them. I have heard about the salt water phase. Has anyone reared Amano.? Is it so difficult that it would be insane to try?

nice, to see your shrimps all looking happy.
I got mine to a similar state a few years ago and some are still alive after 6 years, but introduced cherries and they are now taking over...
