Alternative Inlet/Outlet for Fluval 105

I'm planning to use a Fluval 105 on a 35l tank. The tank isn't very tall, and so the inlet/outlet are too large, especially the inlet being too long.

Can anyone suggest another way of using them/some other kind of inlet/outlet that I could buy on the cheap?

yes, it make no difference, i chopped about 5cm of my 205 when i had it on my 60l, It is only a plastic pipe and it doesnt change shape lol/

I've cut and hacked my inlets and outlets so they fit better, works a treat 🙂 I even mod'ed an outlet so I could use it as an intake
