Wondered if anyone with experience of Alternanthera Reineckii can confirm if this is a normal way for it to grow?
Mine are nice and bushy at the bottom, but seem to be getting a bit leggy, although they don't look ridiculous in that there isn't miles of stem between leaves.
I have several and they're all doing the same - two of them get way more light than the third but still seem to be growing straight up.
I'm assuming if it was light, they'd be leaning?
I have one in a glass container, 2 in propagators, simple LED desk lamps but two are under a 13w 6500k which seems ridiculously bright - I kinda got missold it whilst looking for something around the 7w mark but in the daylight spectrum.
They're also putting out loads of white roots, which from what I've read is quite normal for stem plants, and very common in these - the roots don't bother me, but I thought I'd mention it in case it's somehow relevant here.
Thanks.
