Algae Problems? Read this first!

    Often algae can be attributed to low CO2 levels or poor circulation in areas of your tank. These topics have been covered many times on the forum, so have a browse and use the search function to try to find any information before posting. A little research goes a long way! :)

    In order for other members to try to help with any algae problems, please make sure you post the following information:

    Tank specifications - size/litres.
    Lighting - T5/T8/Wattage - Daily photoperiod.
    CO2 - Pressurised/DIY/None.
    Filtration - Filter/LPH rating.
    Fertilisation routine - EI/All in one product/PMDD/None etc.

    Also, please post as much information about the algae and, if possible, include a photo. Some good links relating to algae are:
