Algae Plants Decontamination Advise - Old Tank

I'm dismantling my old tank which I've left neglected since I set up the 90p.

There are a few crypts, Buces and Anubias that were left in there which now have a little BBA. What's the best way to "decontaminate" them before moving the plants into the 90p?

Should I mix the excel with water and place them in a jug to soak?

I would. I’d use several times the recommended dose and smoke them in a jug. All the BBA sill start going red and die.
