Algae - Neutro Co2 same as Excel?

Just wondering will Neutro Co2 have the same effect on algae as Excel or is there something slightly different in Excel?

I think there all made of glut at various strengths but all work the same really. I just get what ever one is cheapest.

Excel is not gluteraldehyde per se but a polymerized version which is supposedly safer to handle. Both work as an algaecide.

Thanks, will stick with Neutro Co2 if they both work the same
