Algae making an appearance

My low tech 1' cube shrimp (less) tank has started to develop a little of algae recently but I can't figure out what type it is. I will be restocking some RCS in a month or so if they will eat it then I am happy to leave some.

There are just three small Nerite snails in there and the tank has been doing OK for several months with a 20-30% water change every 1-2 weeks but then algae appeared a month or so ago. This seemed mainly on some moss attached to a small piece of mopani wood so that was removed but the algae has come back.

There is
* Windolev Java Fern
* Anubias Nana
* Limnophila sessiliflora
* Monte Carlo

Does this suggest I need to add some ferts? The java Fern is doing ok but not thriving but the limnophila (which has had some algae in it) has needed regular trimming. The Monte Carlo has carpeted surprisingly well but each time I try and pull out the algae it uproots it all.
