Hey all..I ordered a regulator from Weld UK; http://www.welduk.com/Details.asp?ProductID=82 along with this nut to connect the co2 tubing; http://www.welduk.com/Details.asp?ProductID=291.
However, the outlet from the nut seems to be around 6/8mm tubing diameter size, whereas I have, and all the other accessories I have, take 4/6mm. Is there any kind of gizmo that will allow me to join the 2 together, so I can run 6mm tubing from the regulator, and then convert that down to 4mm for the solenoid connection?
I hope that made sense :p

Cheers
Paul

By any chance is it possible to put the 4mm tubing in hot water and get it to fit on the 6mm connector. Don't use one of those myself but I know a few people who have used that exact same one with no probs.

It's going to need to stretch a fair amount..I'll give it a go and see what happens, cheers

Boil the kettle and put an inch or two of the tube in the water. Leave half a minute or so and then spit in the end of the tube (it's a great lubricant) and try and push it on.

4mm would have been pretty impossible. Lucky I found some slightly bigger kicking around. Just about managed to get that on after using the boiling water trick, cheers :)
