two of my neon tetras have all a sudden got a white lump near there tails any ideas on how to treat

I am going to be honest - that is not sudden.

ive only had the little one a week and it’s wasn’t there when I bought it

The older one it’s been there about two weeks but got bigger

Any ideas how to treat

Top photo suggests scales have been lost. Not sure much more can be done for that fish - leaving it for two weeks was perhaps a bit long.

We’ll need clearer photos to help as impossible to know of it’s fungal or bacterial.

Also, please provide info on water conditions, temperature, pH, GH and Kh.
