advice wanted after medication

I had some bad luck with my cardinals...I had to use medication that kills bacteria and now I have to start all over to get my filter bacteria back, that's not so bad cause I have some bact. balls from Dr. Tank that seemed to do it last time pretty fast BUT my plants look like they are about to die.... ....I will do a water change of about 40 to 50% and will put some active carbon into the filter to get the 'poison' out...is there anything else I can do to safe my plants??????? O yeah, I fert. the EI way

Carbon and lots of large water changes, trim and remove any melt if the plants have good roots they may recover, good luck with it Martin.

thx Tim...I just started this tank 3 weeks ago...the plants were just starting to grow, still it looks like the new growth will make it

Try to do more water changes and add some Nitrifying bacteria,trim and remove any melt and cankered plants to keep good water condition,well,take easy Martin,the plants will recover after a couple of days. By the way Martin,are you a Chinese?

I will add some Nitrifying bacteria as in a few days after I am sure that there is no more medicine left...
btw,I am not Chinese I just live in China.
