Ada Amazonia shelf life?

Hi, does ADA Amazonia have any sort of use by date?
Also is it ok to leave it in a tank without any water whilst arranging hardscape for any length of time?

No real shelf life. Once the nutrients are added they dont disappear (untill it starts releasing them into the water column and they get used. and it will reabsorb excesses if you use the EI method of ferts). No problem with leaving it dry in the tank, BUT it WILL gather dust, as I found when I left colombo in for three weeks before starting. Just cover it with clingfilm when you are not practicing your hardscape
