Acrylic filter fittings

Only a quick test to see how well the Acrylic can be cut and bent but I've just made these. Quite pleased for a first attempt.



Top inlet strainer is made from 15mm OD - 13mm ID. Bend is 13mm OD - 10mm ID. The smaller tube is a tight fit inside the other.

very nice how did u get the cuts on the strainer so clean ? did you use pipe springs for the bend or pack it out with salt ? excellent job mate

3/32" cutter at a few thousand RPM in a £1500 milling machine for the cuts. The bending is a trade secret at the moment

I don't have the materials to hand at present, I only bought enough to see what sizes worked etc. I'll bear it in mind when I order some more and done some more test bends!
