Hello everyone! 😀

I've been into this amazing hobby for a few years now. I currently have one 38l tank and a small 17l cube for my blue/white Betta (in avatar image).

Because I'm a web programmer professionally, I got the idea that I could somehow contribute to the aquascaping community (except sharing freshly trimmed plants with locals) by building a website or an application that aquascapers could use.
After some thought and work process, I created https://scapestory.com - a place where you can get inspired and share with others your aquascape ventures.

It would be really helpful if you could share your opinion if that's something that you would like to use and which features you would like to see in the future.
Looking forward to your feedback and can't wait to dive deep into other posts! Happy scaping!

Welcome to UKAPS! I had a quick look at the website, nice idea, I like how it details all the technical aspects, not just the pretty pictures. Can you search, maybe by tags? I know when looking for inspiration it's handy to be able to search for lowenergy, or jungle style etc. Might be handy, unless you already can?

Now you need to integrate your idea with the UKAPS forum, so we can replace Journals with that app! 😉 on it's own there are already so many social means that will be hard to take off!

@noodlesuk Thanks for the feedback! Searching by tags is really great idea, that could be really helpful. Would you prefer to enter your own custom tags or select some predefined ones?
I'd say have a few to choose from, but also allow users to add custom tags. Then those custom tags can be part of the ones users can also select. If that makes sense. Very much like Instagram.
