a lucky shot

Sparrowhawk.
Once had one take a collard dove from my bird table.
All that was left was it's throat,with a peanut still in it
 
Nice shot......where I feed my 200+ sparrows and unbelievable numbets of other species, I've got a sparrowhawk fetching dinner allmost every day !!
My sisters kids got quite angry one time, because - quote" it ate one of the pretty ones " (a Bullfinch). I consider it part of natures order, though :cigar:
