Critique my aquascape 5 Rock Iwagumi new setup advice needed!

Hi all!

This is my first ever iwagumi, I find it quite relaxing to look at but I have a feeling the father stone needs to be swapped out for another rock that’s the same type of the rest of them???

So what’re your thoughts on how it looks and what can I do to improve it overall? Thanks in advance!!

Lovely stones and plants.

For my personal taste the stone placement is missing a sense of direction. I quite like things to have an obvious flow. Perhaps giving the main stone a lean will help and give you some ideas for the smaller stone placement.

I’m not an expert though and the most important thing should be “what looks right to you”. I broke some of the iwagumi rules but to my eye I prefer my own layout (even number of stones). So don’t feel you have to take anyone’s advice if it works for you.
