I have just bought an Aquamanta EFX 600 filter off Ebay and have payed and collected it. The filter did not come with any tubing. The only description in the manual about tubing is where it says 32mm hose. It seems like Aquamanta dont have a website and any attempt to find out more always leads back to the maidenhead aquatics website which is less than helpfull.
I have been looking on google and it seems Eheim do a 25/34mm size. This leads me to even more questions
Q1 Will this size be okay as it says its 2mm larger than what is stated in the aquamanta manual it wont pop off and empty my tank overnight?
Q2 Can I get a reducer that will fit this size tubing to my existing 16/22 mm tubing
Q3 do I need to fit the reducer on both inlet and outlet sides?
Q4 will this be bad for the filter?
Q5 with the reduced pipe size will this mean with all the extra pressure created will I end up with a power hose type spray bar?
Q6 can you get spray bars and intake pipes for 34mm tubing?
Q7 why the hell did I buy this filter without thinking all this through
Q8 Would anyone like to buy a Aquamanta efx600 filter with no pipework?
hope some body can answer some or all of my questions.
