Hi all,
I just picked up a 2nd hand Juwel Vision 180. It's got a replaced lighting system in it the form of the following; https://www.iquaticsonline.co.uk/sh...system/iquatics-aqualumi-universal-twin-92cm/
Inside it, it has one 'Tropical' bulb - https://www.iquaticsonline.co.uk/sh...-t5-bulbs/juwel-35w-t5/35w-juwel-t5-tropical/ and one 'White marine' bulb -https://www.iquaticsonline.co.uk/sh...uwel-35w-t5/35w-juwel-t5-white-marine-14000k/.
Am I to assume the marine bulb isn't ideal for growing plants in the traditional tropical planted tank sense (as much as it is for growing coral)?, it's described as creating 'shallow corals light intensity'. It does appear to a very much white light, as opposed to the more warm/orangey light of the tropical. Preferably I'd like to create an ideal scenario for plants growth, so I'm happy to replace the bulb if so.
Cheers.
