Critique my aquascape 2,000 L Beast

Last time i tried, nearly fell in...

Hard to imagine the scale of the tank when looking at the pics...
A beast indeed!

What would you suggest as an alternative for background that doesnt mind plenty of flow?
Was thinking of crinum.

I missed that...
I'll have to think about that, didn't dislike te vallis actually, just thought the flow direction was a bit "off".
You could consider Hygrophila pinnatifida, they can grow huge (like in the amano tank in lisbon) and look stunning (like in the amano tank in lisbon) when given the space.
Maybe Hygrophila corymbosa if you like the looks.
Or some (more?) tall stems of Ludwigia repens ("rubin" perhaps) can look nice too.

But when you raise the height of the substrate by adding soil between and behind the rocks (thus making them less prominent) you could use smaller plants. That would give you more options ofcourse... :rolleyes:
