Not a direct answer to your question, but how long do you need them to be fresh for?
Given they're in a nutrient kind of agar, and light, temp is ideal, they'll last at least a few weeks, probably surprisingly longer for the ones that can grow emersed
I agree. Occasionally some will last for weeks floating around in the tank so they’re getting light & don’t get chilled but some only last days.
I think it’s dependent not only on the species of plant but on how long it’s been since it left the ideal conditions at the TC facility, which are sterile environments with as perfect culture conditions as possible.
