Neo Co2 biological system with fish?

Yes, Co2 gas concentration may well affect fish! You can run 24/7 put you will need to have gas exchange from a filter outlet of some sort, or a small air pump. Best purchase a Co2 drop checker....although this has a lag time for the actual reading.

Bends in the hoses are inevitable in most setups but I try to avoid tight bends like that. I use standard clear hose so I doubt I’d be able to get a bend as tight as that in it even if I wanted to. I like clear hose (or pale green/grey) because I can clearly see when they need cleaning.

Thanks Simon, that's really reassuring! Once again, patience is key 😅 I will leave the tank as it is for now and see if the surviving terrestrial moss spreads over time, or if I can redistribute some of the java moss if that's doing better. Really appreciate the advice everyone :)

Little height on the right, just lower than the right will give a good contrast for a second visual point. I wouldn't worry about the left being too high on the rocks. Epiphytes like Bruce, anubias can be used at the base of the right as as the left.

Nice, good job. You've got a very decent sense of perspective and proportion, and have filled the canvas well. I wouldn't worry about the uneven substrate level at the front.
