    60cm makes a comeback

Very Nice Dave :D the rocks look fantastic, I love the arrangement. IMO the wood arrangement needs a little attention, The centre peice looks a little top heavy to me and it might look better if you changed the angle on either the left or right peice perhaps directing one to the front of the...

    Mini landscape rock

Best advice is to buy more than you will need (if poss) its useful to have different shapes and sizes to hand so you can play with different combinations. What you dont use in this scape you will use in another. This is where buying your rocks from your LFS rather than online can save you money...

Re: Scaping help needed please for 90cm Asian theme tank Hi Ray, For me its a ll about the picture below - I can see the left hand side planted with taller stems (crypto balansae back left?), maybe a fern and some anubias tied onto the bulk end of the wood, Moss growing on the branches that...

    Layout advice for 70L tank

Hmmmm, IMO steve the tanks a bit small for another peice of wood. The wood you have is called sumatra wood, If you do decide to add another peice make sure its of the same type. A small drawback of sumatra wood is the cut ends, You could try to hide them with moss.

    Moss mesh

After postying this question I went ahead and tied some flame moss to some aluminium mesh purchased from Halfords (used for car body repairs) ive seen no adverse effects. Only trouble is its so light so you will have to anchor it down. The aluminium mesh is very pliable and a sheet of it could...

    Aquascaping books!

Hi, Take a look at Takashi Amanos 'Nature aquarium world' books. They are a little dated now but I think im right in saying that they were the inspiration for a lot of us using this forum. Or take a look here http://www.cau-aqua.net/index.php?lang=en Enjoy

    Very nice NA example

very nice! certainly worth a look. One thing that puzzles me about the ADA style aquarium and cabinet - I really like the sleek minimilist look of the cabinet and simple glass construction and am tempted to try and recreate this, however my question is in all the examples of this style ive...
