Who's entering the IAPLC 2010 (ADA contest)?

I'm out too. I decided looking after my tank properly is more important than entering a comp. So the glosso carpet has been replanted, and even I can't bring myself to enter a tank with a completely ungrown foreground. But I WILL take a picture once the carpet is grown in, ready for next...

UKAPS @ RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Good job! Looks great despite the difficult size - and good to get a foot (or should that be lily pipe?) in the RHS door. I always thought the Royals were a bit in-bred, but this is ridiculous!

Who's entering the IAPLC 2010 (ADA contest)?

I'm still due to do a severe trim of my glosso and rotala, and I'm not at all sure they will have grown back in time, but who cares? As Luis says, it's only an issue if you've got a reputation to defend - and I haven't! Looking at it another way, a really terrible result this time leaves...

Who's entering the IAPLC 2010 (ADA contest)?

    ...and I've just ordered a Canon 500D with a 17-55mm f2.8 lens - oo-er!

Who's entering the IAPLC 2010 (ADA contest)?

I'm still trying to summon up the courage to spend £££s on a decent camera. I need a final trim of my rotala and a go at the glosso too. If the worst comes to the worst, I'll simply take a picture with my current camera and bung it through. As I see it, whatever happens there's a chance I...

That's another great achievement guys - you must be enormously proud of yourselves - rightly so! It makes me wonder whether any of you thought you'd be reaching these giddy heights when you gave birth to the UKAPS baby. (Do you see what I did there?)

    UKAPS @ Interzoo 2010, Germany

Re: UKAPS @ Interzoo 2010 Wow, this is absolutely amazing, and a huge tribute to the hard work of UKAPS' founders in creating a forum for 'serious, positive, and forward-thinking enthusiasts' - George, you couldn't better describe why UKAPS does it for me, and why UKAPS fully deserves this...

    2009 Festival of Fishkeeping Pictures

That's an outstanding stand guys - if I wasn't at the opposite end of the country this is a show I'd have LOVED to attend. The tanks look ace, and obviously did the job of winning converts judging by some of the posts here. It's interesting to see how the stand has come on from that (perfectly...

    UKAPS @ Hagen Show

Just a suggestion to anyone interested in attending who's not strictly trade: exhibition organisers are very keen to maximise attendance figures, as it helps sell stands at next year's show. So if you can invent a justification for attending - maybe you're developing your plans to open an LFS...
