    Yes, that is why I boil them, once boiled they don't sting, and the acid's are broken down by a naturally occurring enzyme in the nettles, so I wouldn't imagine it is a problem! :D I am very happy with my co2's current production, so I dont think it will be an issue!

    they did not have any flower's on them when I put them in, I only have snails in there at the moment, but when I introduce the shrimp and fish I will stop, are nettles bad? I was recommended to use them on another forum.

    yes, that is what I did with the yeast, but I just shook it all up together in the bottle and it was producing with in 40min! There are nettles in my tank because the apple snail's eat it and it is high in calcium for their shell's!

    Hi, I am trying to set up a yeast co2. I have got a mixture that is producing it well! I have got co2 tubing and my diffuser, I have set it all up, but I can't make it work, I can make it all leak proof but then it start's to siphon the water out of my tank, so I have got a 1 way flow regulator...

    What would be the best way of getting co2 dissolved into an aquarium if you are using yeast? I know you can use the usual glass diffuser because the pressure is not high enough.

    Hi, I have just read some reviews about boyu in-line co2 reactor's. Does any one know how these work? How do they get the co2? Do you need a pressurised canister? Is it possible to wire them into a canister filter? Anyone had bad experiences with them?
